Marty Fisher Becomes Sole CEO Following Retirement of Peter George


Marty Fisher has become the sole CEO and owner of The Show and Tell Agency after acquiring the shares of retiring co-CEO Peter George.

The transition in ownership and leadership comes after the company experienced three successful years as a merged entity comprised of two agencies – Sherpa Marketing and McKim Communications Group. The full-service agency announced it had rebranded to Show and Tell in September 2023.

George has led major Manitoba advertising agencies for nearly 30 years and has been instrumental in developing prominent brands and delivering successful campaigns across many sectors and media channels.

“I’ve had a great career at the helm of leading full-service agencies since 1995,” says George. “I’ve had the privilege to work with some of the smartest people I know — at the agency and on the client side. It feels good to be able to step back and know that the amazing Show and Tell team can take
this great agency into the future.”

George’s departure from Show and Tell will allow him to focus on leading and growing ED. Marketing, a higher education branding and marketing agency he launched in 2020 that operates under the Show and Tell umbrella today. He will also act as agency consultant for clients with whom he has a key role.

“There are still several passion projects I have on the go with Show and Tell, so I’m glad to have the opportunity to continue see some of those through,” he adds.
Having been at the forefront of technology adoption for more than 30 years, and with his deep belief in the power of great creative, Fisher will continue to inspire clients and associates to expand their boundaries in new ways.
